I won my first Giveaway!

My day was made this morning when I was going through my daily blog reads, and did a double take when I saw that I was the winner to The Antique Pearl's "Shabby Abble Giveaway!" I let out a squeal of excitement so big and my mister looked at me like a crazy lady! A visit to the ER

I've been away from the internet world for a few days due to an intense tonsilitis takeover. One that put me right into the hospital, with my very first IV and everything! When it first started I went straight to a cvs minute clinic, where they gave me a Zpacand lidocaine to gargle with. The lidocaine was meant to numb my tonsils, only it'sgel consistency made it hard to gargle without gagging. When the Zpac wasn't kicking in fast enough, I couldn't eat or drink for two days, and I was crying over the pain, mister scooped me up and drove me to the hospital. (As much pain as I was in I asked if we could wait until after the Bachelorette to go, because it was about to start and I anticipate it all week! He wouldn't wait.) My throat was swollen to the point that I was spitting in a cup because I couldn't bare to swallow even a drop. The IV was filled with fluids to rehydrate my body, and a bit of pain relieving drip that made me a teeny bit loopy! Then I got the WORST SHOT OF MY LIFE of penicillin in my thigh. I was originally going to get stuck in the butt, but I talked then nurse man into doing it elsewhere. It's been two days and I'm still waddling around like I'm nine months pregnant! They patched me up and sent me on my way with a prescription for Vicodin. It's close to clearing up now with just a little sore scratchiness, but 98% better! I hope I never ever ever have tonsilitis again, and I wouldn't wish it upon anyone!

6. Top three favorite breakfast foods: Biscuits & gravy, eggs & sausage.

7. A breezy sea salt chill in the early morning, downtown LB.

8. This is what my heaven will look like. Donuts infinity.

9. A pirate festival on the beach with mohawk wearin' kind of people.

10. Feistin' with friends at our favorite beachside brewery.

11. I made dinner which is rare, being the mrs. of a chef boy.

12. We have our own personal lol dog in real life, all day long.

13. Again with the clingy all over me this week. Again with the lol dog.

14. Our weekly mornings off date, at our favorite LB breakfast spot.

Happy Birthday, America!

A little package Arrives

Yesterday I returned from the beach to find this little surprise waiting on my doorstep! I was especially excited because I knew it was the package containing one of my little bridesmaids dresses! Now, I can't show you the dress until the wedding come November, but it's pastel pink and I'm completely smitten! (It might be hard not to wear it out on the town before the wedding!) Mister tucked it away somewhere deep in the closet just in case! The other thing stuffed inside this adorably wrapped package, I can show you however. I wasn't anticipating this item like I was the dress, but turns out it kind of stole the spotlight! (It might just be because I'm not allowed to wear the dress.) Really though, I'm unexpectedly so in love with this little number, It was a real cherry on top! Can't thank  you enough, Vintage&Gee!
